Happiness is having a great HOA
A healthy community is one that engages all its residents, giving them reasons to explore and connect beyond their own four walls. Our Homeowners Associations (HOAs) make this happen.
Spotlight on Calgary’s HOAs
The Livingston Homeowners Association (HOA), scheduled to open Spring 2020, will be a shining example of togetherness. Offering a professionally managed 30,000 sq ft lifestyle centre, every detail has been thoughtfully designed to provide options for your entire family to live, grow and thrive. Picture cooking classes in the community kitchen, birthday parties and wedding showers in the modern banquet space, a day of hockey on the NHL-sized rink (topped off with s’mores and hot chocolate around the fire pit) or playing for hours on end at the splash park.
We recognize that communities play a significant role in health and activity levels. Pathways, sidewalks and bike lanes are a key part of every community we design. Parks, playgrounds and other public gathering spaces are also in the heart of every one of our communities. Not only do these features create opportunities for togetherness and physical activity, they also encourage something that can be even more important: play.
In honour of Neighbour Day, we asked our Calgary Brookfield Residential community members and social media followers to share comments on their favourite neighbours. Through these comments, we got the chance to unravel the story of how three neighbours became great friends.
